We were at my cousin Brian's wedding last night. What a blast!! Their wedding was an outdoor deal at The Golf Club at Newcastle. It could not have been a nicer day!!
Having never been to the Club, I was unaware of the view. Talk about a view. Cloudless sky. From the Club house you can see the tower at SeaTac Airport, you can see Seattle's skyline, Bellevue's sky line, Lake Washington snake along from Renton to Kirkland, and this was the most amazing thing: you can see the entire range....from the north end to the south end...of the Olympic Mountains. I'm still stunned!!!!
The wedding was spectacular and the view was God crafted!!!! Unbelievable. The sunset was nothing short of perfect. I have never seen this before, but as the sun finally crept behind the Olympics, the last itzy, bitzy part of it as it went down was this intense light....like a laser. Pretty cool stuff.
If you ever get a chance to take a drive on a sunny day or evening, head up there...the view is outrageous!!!! God sure does nice work!
